Alright, Wheely’s got himself a love interest, Jolie! But wouldn’t you know it, she gets carted away, and now Wheely’s off on a rescue mission. This game picks up right where that romance begins, sending our little red hero through a whole new set of levels to save her. Again, it’s up to you to interact with the world around him, triggering things and moving obstacles so he can reach his goal.

The puzzles definitely step up a notch from the very first game. You’ll see more complex setups here – things like platforms that move on their own, switches that do multiple things, and other bits you need to interact with carefully. It takes a bit more logic and getting the timing right to figure out how to get Wheely through each area without any bumps or crashes.

Looks-wise, it keeps that same charming, cartoony style going. The backgrounds have plenty of detail, and Wheely himself is as animated as ever. The sounds and music are right there with you, giving you feedback and setting the mood for his big rescue attempt. It’s a really nice follow-up that gives you more of that puzzle-solving goodness wrapped up in a sweet little story.
