Next Version: Wake Up the Box 3.

This follow-up keeps the same basic goal – wake that box! – but throws in a fantastic creative twist. Instead of just dropping fixed wooden shapes, you actually get to draw your own. Armed with a simple pencil tool, you can sketch out lines, circles, or whatever custom wooden forms you think might do the job. Once drawn, these shapes instantly become part of the physical world, falling and interacting just like the pre-made pieces in the first game.

The real fun comes from the freedom this drawing mechanic gives you. Need a ramp? Draw one. Think a heavy circle rolling down could nudge the box? Sketch it out. It encourages you to think outside the, well, box! Your drawings aren’t just static images; they have weight and react realistically to gravity and collisions. This means you can come up with all sorts of unique and sometimes wacky solutions to get the box moving, and often there isn’t just one single way to solve a level.

Wake Up The Box 2 feels much more like a playground for ingenuity compared to its predecessor. It invites you to experiment and be playful with your approach. The satisfaction comes not just from solving the puzzle, but from seeing your own hand-drawn contraption work exactly as planned (or sometimes fail in hilarious ways). That blend of creative input and the familiar silly objective makes messing around in each level a joy.
