Defend the Island With Towers, Traps, and a Pet

Castaway Island TD mixes tower defense with direct character movement. You control the hero from the Castaway series while monsters march along paths toward the island’s sacred crystals. Your job is to build defenses, collect resources, and stop each wave before the enemies reach the end.

The adventure contains 30 levels spread across five different environments. You also face eight bosses as you travel across the island.

Walk Around and Build the Towers Yourself

Unlike many tower defense games, you do not control everything from a fixed overhead menu.

Use W, A, S, and D or the arrow keys to move your hero. Press Spacebar near suitable trees or tower positions to interact with them.

You can build six types of towers. Each one has three upgrade levels. Placement matters because towers need enough time to attack monsters as they travel along the path.

Add Gems and Traps to Your Defense

Enemies can drop useful gems. These gems let you add elemental properties to towers and change how they attack.

You can also unlock eight traps. Number keys 1 through 8 provide quick access to them. Traps appear where your hero stands, so you need to move into a useful position before placing one.

Choose a Pet to Fight Beside You

At the beginning of the adventure, you can choose from three pets. Each has a special ability, and the pet becomes stronger as it evolves.

Your hero also earns stat points, which allows you to improve different skills.

Castaway Island TD gives you more control than a normal tower defense game. Run around collecting dropped coins, build and improve towers, place traps, strengthen defenses with gems, and work with your pet. Every successful wave brings you closer to protecting all of the island’s crystals from the invading monsters.
