Flakboy 2 is a cartoon physics puzzle game where the player places traps and tools inside a test room. The goal is to create enough damage to pass each level. The player does not control Flakboy directly during the action. Instead, the player sets up the room first, then starts the test and watches how everything works.

The main challenge comes from planning. The player has a limited budget, so every item must help. A weapon placed in the wrong spot may do very little. A trap placed in the right place can push Flakboy into another object and create a bigger chain reaction. This makes the game more like a puzzle than a simple action game.

Flakboy 2 includes many different tools, such as mines, guns, rockets, and other dangerous devices. Each one works in its own way. Some push Flakboy across the room. Some hit from one direction. Some help start a chain of movement. The player has to learn how each tool behaves.

The game can look silly because Flakboy has a strange cartoon design and bounces around the room in odd ways. Still, the player needs to think carefully to beat the level target. Random placement usually does not work well. Smart placement gives better results.
